Majestic Jetties

Majestic Jetties & Marinas has evolved from Al Muhairi Ship Maintenance, a company established in Jaddaf, Dubai for more than 20 years, building and maintaining boats and pontoons for many local customers.

Majestic has developed a range of marina products which satisfy the entire range of needs from individual customers wishing to install a mooring for their own boat, to marina developers requiring facilities for several hundred vessels.

Unique Products
The environment in the Gulf is extremely harsh – not only high temperatures and daily range of temperature change, but in the sea one of the highest salinity concentrations in the world, which is very corrosive. The materials used by most jetty manufacturers – concrete, steel, or aluminium, no matter how they are treated, sooner rather than later start to corrode. The patented technique applied to manufacture Majestic Jetties® Pontoons is the same as traditional ship-building with some enhancements. We use 100% non corrosive materials. The internal frame is made of wood coated with fiberglass and the exterior shell is fiberglass-coated ply. An inner frame is created onto which the fiberglass panels are attached. This structure gives a superior strength to the jetties that can sustain heavy impacts. It also makes them heavier so that they remain stable in the water. The external finish is a gel coat similar to the finish of a yacht and may be provided with an anti-fouling coating with a 10 year guarantee.

The structure of the deck frame of Majestic Walkways and Fingers is of similar construction – sturdy fiberglass and gel-coated timber, making our walkways both solid and long lasting.

Durable Structure
The inner frame of the jetty is made of timbers individually encased in several layers of fiberglass which give it additional strength and render it impervious to water and corrosion. The external panels are heavy duty ply encased entirely in fiberglass which provides not only the strength and anti-corrosion quality but also render it completely watertight. Each pontoon is divided into watertight compartments, so that even in the event of an accident the pontoon is unsinkable. The solidity of the entire matrix of the frame makes the pontoon much lighter than the concrete competitor but still heavy enough to sit solidly in the water. (photo of frame).

Cost Efficient
Due to their method of construction, the transportation and installation of the Majestic Jetties® is much simpler than those made of other materials by competitors. Therefore our customers can enjoy a superior quality product at a lower cost. Environmentally Friendly Majestic Jetties® have minimal impact on the marine environment. The materials we use do not corrode and do not leach into the sea, a problem facing all competitive manufacturers.

  Majestic Pontoons are the ideal solution for individual moorings for villas, hotels, diving centres, and locations where a full jetty is inappropriate. They have been installed with great success in both open water and sheltered areas.
• Jetties & Marinas
  
  The standard range of Majestic Jetties® mooring systems consists of walkway pontoons and finger units. They are constructed in the same way as the pontoons with solid timber components.
